This is a build I used for a looooong time:

[card]Spear Of Lightning[/card][card]Blazing Spear[/card][card]Merciless Spear[/card][card]Poisonous Bite[/card][card]Tiger's Fury[/card][card]Heal As One[/card][card]Charm Animal[/card][card]Run As One[/card]

Its pretty effective.

I used it in both!

RA and TA you'd need to add res signet into the place of Run As One. AB you can put Run As One back in.

If i remember rightly, the point spread was:
Spear Mastery: 12
Expertise: 8 + 1
Beastmastery: 10 + 1 + 1

I did use a sup beastmastery rune for a long time for the larger heal, but Ive seen the error of my ways now and id recommend a minor rune.

In PvE I've been using this occasionally when I get tired of other builds:

Spear - 12
Expertise - 12 + 1 + 1
Beast - 3

You can drop expertise a point or 2 and up beast mastery if you really want to i suppose.

It's not exactly the best build but it works well and its a break from the more standard ranger builds.

what i have been using, its petless btw, stats expertise 11, spear 12, wilderness 10, there are 5 left over points, do whatever with them.

Spear of Redemption always works well in a Para/AP build ^_^
